Baptisms

At New Road, we provide baptisms (also knows as Christenings) for both adults and children. If you're interested and would like more details, please reach out via our Contact page. Our service is offered free of charge, yet we welcome donations to support our efforts in Stourbridge and the nearby areas. These services usually take place on a Sunday as part of our morning service or immediately after the morning service.

Weddings

As part of the Methodist Connexion, New Road upholds the sanctity of marriage and celebrates when couples choose to honour their love in the presence of God. We conduct marriage blessings and warmly welcome individuals who may have been previously married to partake in this celebration.

The specific cost of our wedding service can be provided upon request. Generally, this would encompass charges for the Church, Minister, and Organist (if needed), along with the Steward fee. Feel free to inquire for more details regarding the pricing of our wedding services. At New Road, bells and a choir are not available for these events. However, presentation technology can be included in your service.

Funerals

During times of grief, New Road aims to support the bereaved by commemorating the life of the departed individual.

Our funeral service cost is available upon request and typically will include a fee for the Church, Minister, Organist (if required) and Steward. Presentation technology can also be added to this service.

For further details, please reach out to us directly via our Contact form or contact your chosen Funeral Director, who can initiate contact with our minister on your behalf. For services held at a crematorium, we can arrange a Memorial Service at the church.
